Who needs pets or service animals when you can't bring them to this glorious property? Such a shame.

The linens provided were old and worn, and we were missing some items when we arrived. the customer service also left something to be desired, as they were difficult to reach after 5pm and did not provide clear information about the cleaning responsibilities.

My partner and I recently stayed at Myllulaekur Villa for a few nights during our trip to Vatnajökull. The location was perfect for exploring the area, as it was peaceful and beautiful, yet just a short distance from the main road. We loved the idyllic and romantic atmosphere created by the 20 horses wandering around the adjacent property. The fully equipped cottage allowed us to easily prepare our own meals, and the cozy atmosphere made our stay truly enjoyable.

The amazing lady on the phone was extremely nice and allowed us to reschedule without any additional charge due to a storm. The ploughed path was a super convenient touch. The beautiful location, right off the Ring Road, provided a jaw-dropping view. It was perfect for a quick overnight stop on the way to the Glacier Lagoon. The cabin had a nice woody smell and was ideal for a couple. I would definitely stay here again.
